I was recently asked to help out with the advertising for the university's 'International Day', a day in which the international students of campus would share their country's culture, food, entertainment, etc. The images below were the final designs for advertising. Take a look; they should be going up around campus soon.

Since I happen to have slightly more free time than last year, I have used some of it to look at increasing my photoshop skills. Coincidentailly, I have found a load of quality tutorials. Since the two opportunities coincided, Ive put some of them to use here. The tutorial links are also included - only fair to hand out credit where its due!

Since the website is nearing its 2 year anniversary, its due for a redesign. The new logo is also below, though then new site wont be online for the moment.

The retro curves tutorial is a useful one for playing with brush properties, masking and warping. Always useful stuff.

The "grunge city" link is a pretty interesting link - with a few photoshop brush set links. Worth it just for that.

The bottle tutorial is another good tutorial for compositing elements together, and altering photographic elements; what photoshop was designed for. Not complicated steps, but their combination creates a pretty cool image.

Anyway, I think thats enough for the moment, there might be another update soonish.

Well it has again been a long time since the last update. Now though I am hoping to be able to add more regularly since exams are past, and coursework deadlines are over. I have already started adding content into the relevant section, and this should continue for the duration of the holidays at least.

I do hope to keep the 'current' section regularly updated with progress on certain projects. So for plenty of exciting new things, keep checking back regularly. I suppose I should also mention Jeff. I have been trying to find time to fit him in. I have plenty of odeas for a 3D based adventure, although the work required is a lot more than with previous versions. So I plan to get the storyboarding finished soon, with previsualisation to follow. If all goes to plan you should be able to follow development of it in the current section as previously mentioned.
