So I recently came across this site. Wittly named the great firewall of china, it can test any website you submit to see if it is blocked by the Chinese government. I do feel a little special, though I'm sure I am not the only one. Anyway It made me feel strangely rebellious. The idea is that it can build up a database of all blocked sites, to get an overall picture of the censorship which the Chinese experience. Its well worth a visit!

Better late than never, I remembered to visit the simpsons movie website for the sole purpose of creating a 'simpsons me'. I have to say that I do look pretty awesome, anyway if you are bored and want to waste a few minute, I would highly recommend it!

Robots In Disguise.....

So I finally got round to seeing Transformers the other day, and needless to say was pretty impressed. I know a lot of people have been saying 'the plot is silly' or 'the characters are 2 dimensional', but hey If you go to watch a film about cars and stuff which turn into giant robots, what do you expect??
The plot basically goes like this: the robots have all very improbably come to Earth to fight each other- thats pretty much it. Obviously to make this happen ILM had to do a huge amount of 3D work, and it does look spectacular. There is a link HERE about the art director, and some of the design work which was done.
And now some more robot (ish) news. I have been feverishly working on the proposed Jeff adventure. Earlier I finshed the storyborading of the story to an extent I was happy with. And so I've officially gone into designing all the stuff. And so this week there is a sneak peek at the latest design. It is for one of the enemy ships. (oh yeah and there is a random eyeball).

So I Came across this image when I was on my travels on some random blog somewhere. Anyway the place and time ain't too important. However this extract from a 1960's comic about someone called Starman from the Detroit League could possibly answer the greatest question to plague mankind
"How do you best dispose of a Bear AND a Tiger"

I guess I feel its a bit of a public service announcement. So you know what to do is you are ever in that situation. Also on a personal note. If movie studios are looking to do another superhero movie (which they always are) then doing this would be most excellent!
