Jack Daniels Project
After re-organising some old storage, I came across a model of a Jack Daniels bottle I had worked on a long time. The reletively complicated geometry of the glass made it an interesting shape to model. At the time, my rendering was reletively poor, and the model did not get fully realised.
With all the exam prep going on I have had chance to finish it as a break from study. The new model uses HDRI lighting, Ambient Occlusion, and more complex particle system to model the cigarette smoke. The only problem I am still unsatisfied with is the liquid itself, simulating the transparency, or lack of has been challenging and needs a little work still.
I will endevour to post wireframe models of this at some point in the near future. Remember - none of this image is real.

Completed using 3D Studio Max, and Mental Ray Renderer. Final composite and depth of field is in Photoshop, Labels: 3d Studio

Masqerade Ball
Having Recently finished designs for the Loughborough Student’s International Day, I have recently been asked to put together posters for the Business School Postgraduate Ball. The theme was Masqerade Ball. The final images are a combination of colour heavy images and light coloured/ design for photocopying. Images are presented below:

Only The Finest Chunks
Although I only tend to put work posts here, I've decided to break with tradition and put up something totally random, just because its great!
Maybe it will become a more regular thing if I can find new and shiny things - since only the finest of chunks of teh intertubes deserve to be placed on these hallowed pages.
Thats all - watch it and keep living the dream!

International Day
I was recently asked to help out with the advertising for the university's 'International Day', a day in which the international students of campus would share their country's culture, food, entertainment, etc. The images below were the final designs for advertising. Take a look; they should be going up around campus soon.
